Almost 20 years ago, Kevin J. Stolpe, an expert in lighting for the entertainment industry, decided to take his hobby and make it his passion.
A consummate host, Kevin had grown to be quite adept in the kitchen as he graciously took charge of the barbeque at his corporate events or his backyard parties.

Over time Kevin tired of the same old average tasting barbeque sauce so he decided to use his gifted palate. With nothing but a napkin in hand, he began to write the beginnings of his own superior creation. Crock pots were placed all over his kitchen and living room bubbling with experiment after experiment, spice after spice, until he at last felt he had simmered a “just right” sauce. What was born has now evolved into a sauce that assuredly entices even the most discerning of tastes...We call it SAUCED™
